FREE Mental Health Parent Education Sessions

We are partnering with Natalis Counseling & Psychology Solutions and Children’s Health Network to offer more FREE virtual parent education sessions focused on mental health. These sessions are free to attend and will be held on Zoom Webinar which ensures privacy for attendees since only the host can see the names of participants. We strongly encourage you to participate in the live event because it is a great opportunity to get free advice and support from pediatric mental health experts! But, we know life happens! If you sign up to attend, but miss the event, you will still get the recording via email.

The Importance of Vaccines

Kids are back to school and sure enough following close behind is the respiratory virus season. Folks of all ages will trend sicker as the weeks go by, until April when the snow is hopefully gone,and the grass turns green (if we’re lucky)! You can protect yourself and your familyduring the respiratory virus season. The best and easiest thing to do is get yourself and children 6 months of age and older the FLU SHOT! Thisprovides protection against the influenza virus, which isarguably the worst cold virus you will ever find for all ages during the winter months. Symptoms often include fevers for 5-7 days, miserable body aches, and 2 or more weeks of illness… That is unless you get the flu vaccine.

About Child & Teen Medical Center

For more than 35 years, Child and Teen Medical Center has provided award-winning infant, child and adolescent care to the Greater Twin Cities Area.

We are an independent practice that provides individualized care to our patients and their families. We offer a wide variety of providers and services to assist you in all stages of your child’s growth and development.

We have two convenient locations in Blaine and Fridley. Blaine is open 365 days per year including weekends, evenings and holidays. Our providers also offer 24 hour call coverage-so our patients can avoid costly and timely visits to urgent care or the emergency room. Same day appointments are available daily in both locations. Our goal is to provide our patients with the most comprehensive and consistent care from birth through the college years.
